Fun to drive. Sharp looking car. Wanted a little more throttle response, but very satisfied by overall performance.

I paid msrp for my Vista Blue GT500. It was worth if. I have a SVT Cobra and didnt buy this car because of the Shelby name. I have always want to see what a SC 4V 5.4l would do in a Mustang. My car will not be a garage queen. I picked my car up in MI and drove it 1600 miles back to FL in 19 hours. Only gripe was the car is to quiet. Didnt sound like a Mustang should. Very fun; cant wait until more parts come out and we start seeing the GT500 putting down 500-600 rwhp.

  • Its nice to get more then you paid for! - 2014 Ford Shelby GT500

My last Mustang was a 2010 Roush 427r modified with 500HP and although overall an easier car to drive it certainly can not compare to my 2014 Shelby GT500. Simply put its an animal under full throttle and very drivable for daily driving BUT and its a very big BUT one can not expect a supercar to be smooth as a Honda Accord. Logic dictates that high power requires heavy duty components and heavy duty requires a little more effort to handle. I ordered mine with the performance and electronic package and just love driving this car. The exhaust note is unbelievable and I just cant understand how Ford was able to build this quality car at these low prices. Its a nice testament to Carol Shelby!

As an old 60s muscle car driver this Shelby GT500 has what it takes to earn that title of a real muscle car with all all the perks. Just a real fun car to drive. When you turn this car on it returns the favor!

  • Finally Ford SVT outdoes the 03-04 Cobra!! - 2013 Ford Shelby GT500

I have owned 4 SVT Cobras, this 2013 Shelby GT500 makes the 5th. And it surely makes the 8 long years I waited for Ford SVT to work their magic well worth it. Dont get me wrong, Ive owned two 04 Cobras while waiting. And have had a blast while waiting, still owning a 04 Mystichrome. I just cant seem to let the old girl go. Now to the 2013 GT500, where to start? The 2 settings of suspension you get with the Performance Package? The settings of steering input? "Sport" setting for me, I could go on all night. In short, SVT did it right on!!

I have always been a huge fan of the Mustang, specifically, Shelby editions. This car gives you more bangs for your bucks. I fell in-love with this car the moment I saw the hood down (while sitting on a dealers show room). Performance overall is grea. Drive is smooth. This car is definitely a keeper!

  • Who needs "the good old days" - 2010 Ford Shelby GT500

Simply the best performance car for the money! Where can you get a new car with 540 HP for 50K? Who needs the old muscle cars? Not me. been there and done that-engines that overheat, have lumpy idles, heavy clutch, constant fiddling to stay in tune and lousy brakes and handling. The 2010 Shelby delivers killer good looks, exclusivity, smooth idle, easy to drive fast--and this vehicle flat out hauls the mail! A senile priest can turn a high 12 second 1/4 mile in this car.

If you have one of these beasts, you fall in love with it at first sight and it just gets better after that. Performance is next to none. Comparisons with the Z06 are a joke as this cars collectors status will be here long after the Z06s are in the junk yard. I was literally blown away by the power this thing generates right off the assmbly line. I cant imagine what some after market mods will do. I was one of the lucky ones who got mine at MSRP, but I can tell you that even at 1$0-15K over, I think its worth the investment.

  • Ford Hit a home run - 2010 Ford Shelby GT500

Im an old Hot rodder. Used to run 100 mph everywhere but it seemed it took so long to get there & youd better have two hands on the wheel. This thing will go to 150 mph easily with one hand on the wheel. The handling is incredible. The sync is great and the weather radar has kept the hail off it more than once. Cant see how to make it better.
